New and Noteworthy

I have created a new page for the news. Let's revisit some of the "news" of 2007.

In March, I sparained my knee {am much better now}
I had finacial relief in June of 2007
Mr. Steven Boyd passed away in his home on July 25th.
In December, I permently closed down Resurrection Dance Company after the last installment of dancers not being able to commit.

Here we are in 2008 and there is a little news to report on....

January:
Ms. Koon begun the short lived Wenda Koon Danse Ensemble. The ensemble had their dancers,but Ms. Koon was not fully enjoying the fruits of directing and ended in June of 2008.

June:
Ms. Koon's new myspace account is on a 'music' account -- www.myspace.com/wendalynkoon

August:
Ms. Koon recently has applied a for teaching position with two schools in Tomball/Cypress location.

Ms. Koon's rehearsal studio's have moved to 1900 Blalock. Lesa's DanceSations has closed the Bear Creek location {4512 Hwy 6 North}.

September:
Ms. Koon audited a class for Artisian School of Dance {tap}. The director would like to have Ms. Koon on staff...but due to the lack of interest in the tap classes, Ms. Koon cannot accept. However, the director would like Ms. Koon to assist in the Nutcracker rehearsals as a choreographer.

October/November:
In other exciting news, Ms. Koon has taken the time to create reels of choreography. One is finished and is mentioned further in the Presskit section.
